Planning a Career
Planning a Career involves pursuing ones own career goals. For example, community colleges help students to develop their Career Goals through Career Counseling. What the student learns will help guide him to making a career choice that may last a lifetime. Career planning is the process which links abilities, interests, passions, values, and personality to the right education and training. Self awareness of ones working values can lead one to those careers he may not have been aware he had an interest in. It is the student’s job to connect what he learns from the classroom to the real world of working. In other words, even though the student may not know which career he really wants to be in, it is he alone who must discover that spark within himself which will motivate him to search for his ideal career until he discovers it.
