Employment Personality Test

An Employment Personality Test is similar to a Career Personality Test, in that it will reveal your interests as they match to certain careers.

Often, employers require you to take their own Job Placement Test, to see where it is you fit best within their organization.

Another test called the sales personality test, will show you if you have similar personality traits to sales people.

This does not necessarily mean you will be a top seller right away; It means, you may have the aptitude for being in a sales related industry, based on comparing your personality and interests to a standardized model of salespersons.

A career assessment test can only verify to you what you already know about yourself, give you a few career suggestions, and point you in the best career direction for your abilities and temperament.

Discovering your Working Style

A good reason to can take an employment personality test, is to locate the type of work that is the best fit to your Personality. If you have fallen into the wrong job through financial necessity, or because the job was convenient to get into, you surely do not want to change jobs and get into another job that doesn't fit your abilities, personality, and leadership style.

  • You may be in a career rut, and need to find career suggestions through an employment personality test. You want career options which are a match to your passions and job interests.
  • Even though you may be good at what you are doing within your present job, you may be burned out, bored, feel trapped, lost interest or passion, dislike doing it, or feel the need for a career change. The career may be wrong for you, because you have to use your weaker abilities you do not enjoy using.
  • Jobs which fit us best, most often require us to use our favorite, stronger aptitudes. This does not necessarily mean we would love all jobs, which require the use of our strongest aptitudes. It simply means we should research that employment we are interested in thoroughly enough, to make certain the job requires us to use our favorite abilities. This way, we know we will have the interest, love, and passion for doing that particular job.
  • An excellent test to help you consider where it is you fit in a career choice, is the Myers Briggs®. Consider taking this one, because a scientifically researched and validated test such as this, will be money well spent. This is because it is a tried and true test, with a long track record of dependability, reliability, and verifiable test results.
