Career Test for Teens : Planning for Your Future Career

A Free Career Test for Teens or teen career test, will Fit your Interests and Abilities to Compatible Careers.

The Myers Briggs (MBTI®) is well known and used for teen career assessment.

This test has been administered throughout the world for over half a century.

Therefore, test results have been proven reliable.

The test is both a personality and career assessment test rolled into one.

Personality Measurement

The Myers Briggs measures personality through four categories, assessing whether that individual is strong or weaker in extroversion/introversion, sensing/intuition, thinking/feeling and judging/perceiving.

The information is then used to assist the test taker in choosing careers that will fit his personality best.

Your preferred working personality type will indicate what your job preferences are. For example, an extrovert may be a people person and favor being a public speaker, while an introvert's daily life will tend to be more internalized, most likely preferring to work alone, or in smaller groups.

There are sixteen personality types that compose the MBTI testing criteria. This career test will describe your strengths and weaknesses based on your personality type.

  • The scores show your degree of career interests through the Holland Codes® Occupational Themes, which are again, the Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional(RIASEC.)
  • You will then have the opportunity to explore those careers which match your interests the closest. It will help you if you learn what environment you learn best in. For example, classroom setting with others, or online through your home PC.
  • You may get some career choices that you may be unsure of, so it will serve you to get to know yourself better through an assessment test.

Is there a Perfect Career Test?

No test is entirely perfect, and can tell you what you should do for a living. Just because the test suggests career options, you still need to make your own judgment call as to what line of work is right for you. Nevertheless, A career test can help you to know yourself better, and give you reliable advice for careers which fit your personality and temperament style the closest.

Your personality is tied to to what things you are interested in.

  • How well do you work with others? What kind of person are you?
  • Are you a helpful person, a leader? Are you a team player?
  • These are personality traits a test like this can determine about you.
