Career Resources
From time to time I will add additional Career Resources and related information.
Below you will find sources to help you find a job, start your own business, avoid scammers, find the right career books, learn about your personality, and search for Second Careers.
For example, if you enjoy working outdoors, and working with your hands; working in a trade in construction, may be just what you’ve been looking for. You can learn anything from rebuilding the State’s freeway infrastructure to excavation.
When you are in an apprenticeship, you can earn a living at the same time, and train to become a journeyman in about four year’s time. Along the way, you will be building your retirement, covered by health insurance, and accumulating vacation pay. Go to California Apprenticeships.
You can be an apprentice at any age. But, this is not the only option, as you can visit the Youth site, too.
