Career Placement Test

The Career Placement Test can be used to locate someone's career areas of interest, and also college majors.

During High School, students work on clarifying their career goals, and majors they will choose in college.

You may even have started preparing for your college ciriculum, as far back as grade school.

So, now is the time to start considering how your interests and skills are going to translate into a life long career, that you will like after college.

It is important to learn how your strengths tie-in to career goals, and in selecting the appropriate classes to match your career plan. The career placement tests assesses your abilities to do certain jobs. You need to take a test that can draw out what things motivate you, in order to find a career you'll love doing.

Try the Myers Briggs®

If you feel out of place, and don't know where you belong in the career world, try taking the Myers Briggs® Type Indicator. It is a Career Testing tool used for assessing your personality type. If you know what personality type you have, then you can find that particular work environment that matches your working style. For example,if you are an Introvert, you might not like working in a noisy environment where the individuals around you are more gregarious and outgoing than you are. The placement test can match personality and interests to the type of work and environment you should be in.

A placement test can tell you that you should reconsider staying in the job you are presently in. If you are happy with most things in your job, including the money, but is lacking other job motivators, maybe you could find an outside interest or hobby to satisfy and fulfill an interest that is not in your job. For example, if one is a mechanical engineer and has primarily an analytical mind, but he also needs to satisfy an artistic interest in guitar, he could be involved in the music community in his spare time.
