Career Counseling Test

Taking a Career Counseling Test may help, if you are confused about your Career Direction. Career related problems can be solved through examining if the Career Direction you are taking is still valid for your current working values and interests.

Career Coaches deal with problems ranging from not getting along with your boss, difficulties with co-workers, and problems more personal in nature, which can be destructive to holding your job.

The counselor can support you in focusing on your plan of action, and goals you agreed upon together.

If you are struggling to find the right Career Path, a Career Coach or Life Coach could be valuable, since they may be able to match your personality to a particular Career and objectively view your personal dilemmas while offering impartial recommendations for positive change.

A Career Coach is supposed to be able to talk you through everyday professional or personal issues you are facing. Once they have assessed your general life situation, they can help you develop a plan for overcoming the obstacles. Together, you and your Coach clarify and agree on what it is you want to accomplish in your life through his career counseling; for the Short term and long term.

Your Coach is there to remind and support you in sticking to your plan and goals, and advise precisely where to put your focus in those areas which you stated were most important.

It is essential to know what goals you want to accomplish. This means you need to know what things you want to achieve personally and professionally.

If you know what you value, this can be the starting point of your focus.

Your Career Coach may suggest exercises for personal growth and development whereby you practice role playing or imagine yourself in certain Personal or Working Scenarios.

  • Ask yourself questions about what it is you want.
  • What advice and direction would you give someone like yourself who had similar concerns?
  • There must be the inherent belief in yourself that you can handle and make positive changes in your personal or professional life.
  • Do you want to find a Career you are Passionate about and love doing?
  • Have you noticed that unhappiness at work filters into your personal life?
  • If you are unhappy in your profession, you have given up control of your Career's Direction.
  • To regain control, you have to be in charge of the direction your career is going.
  • Once you Discover what you Love to do for a living, and direct your career the way you want it to go, you have regained Power and Control.
