Hi, I am Steven. This is about how I made a recent midlife career change. Now, a little history about me...

Way back in the mid 70's, I graduated from Citrus College in Azusa, with a major in Small Business Management and minor in English. Presently, I live in Upland, California with my wife and two teens.

Unfortunately, for years I was trapped in a day job I hated doing. It was an unfulfilling, dreary, thankless job- except for the paycheck and benefits. I was just too caught up in making a living to think about what else I would enjoy doing.

I retired from that a couple years ago, and decided that this time I was going to make darn sure I found something I liked to do, and at the same time make money while working from the comfort and convenience of my own home.

One day, I was looking around the internet for some kind of business idea that I could use to do something online to make a living, and stumbled upon Site Build It!

I watched Site Build It's videos about their members who were making money on the internet. These people were from all walks of life, all ages, and from all over the world. They seemed just like me.

I studied the websites of some of the top 1% online businesses there on this link within Site Build It!.

I was hoping to find something to do I would be excited about, and look forward to doing every day right from home.

Hmmm...Imagine me getting enjoyment out of working at a career! what's that like, anyway!?

Well, now I know because Site Build it! has taught me how to make what I know sell. I'll tell you, I sure don't miss "bumper to bumper" L.A. traffic anymore!

I was sure tired of the rat race, and ready to parachute out of all that smog! It's great "doing my own thing." And especially, no more boss breathing down my neck.

If you are "trapped" where you are right now, make a plan to find a way out of it as soon as you can. Don't keep doing something you hate doing, when you can begin working from home tomorrow.

The best way to do the career transition like I did, is to build your website gradually over time, until it makes as much money as your present job does. And when it does...turn in your resignation letter!

I used to work outside. Boy, It's sure great not having to work in a summer heat wave, or the cold winter rains anymore.
